Information collected

The website may collect:

• The page route visited, such as the homepage or Gallery.
• The date and time of a visit.
• A broad referral category, such as Google, social media, another website, or direct traffic.
• Random page-view and session identifiers used to prevent duplicate counting.
• Temporary retry information stored in the browser for no more than seven days when an analytics request cannot be delivered.

Information not included in analytics reports

The Digital Mechanic analytics system does not place names, email addresses, phone numbers, message contents, exact search terms, precise locations, advertising identifiers, or raw Internet Protocol addresses into Gary's analytics reports or Supabase analytics records.

Hosting and infrastructure providers may process ordinary network information as needed to deliver, secure, and operate the website.

How the information is used

Analytics are used only to understand site performance, count visits, identify useful pages, and see broad traffic sources. Analytics information is not sold and is not used for targeted advertising.

Service providers

The Digital Mechanic administers the analytics system for Gary's Mobile Welding. Vercel hosts and delivers the website. Supabase stores protected analytics records and aggregate reports. These providers process information only to operate their respective services.

Retention

Duplicate page-view identifiers are generally retained for about two days, and duplicate session identifiers for up to 35 days. Aggregate visit totals may be retained while the analytics service is active and for a reasonable period afterward for reporting and operational records. Information is deleted or anonymized when it is no longer reasonably needed.

For a privacy question or request, contact Gary using the call or text options on the website. Because analytics are aggregated and are not connected to a visitor's name or contact details, an individual visit may not be identifiable after it has been counted.
